Robert Snodgrass targets win at Aston Villa as Manuel Pellegrini backs Declan Rice

Declan Rice and west Ham duo Robert Snodgrass endured a challenging time but the pair will back in Premier League action on Monday.
Scotland lost both their Qualifiers the defeat to the latter had been the very first time Snodgrass had played one year ago since losing by exactly the same score to the resistance.
“This was a disappointing few consequences for us personally,” said Snodgrass.
“It had been my very first start in a very long period for Scotland, and also to get beat how we did…
“We turned off at critical times and when they’ve got the likes of [Kevin] De Bruyne, [Romelu] Lukaku and [Dries] Mertens in the side they can cause you difficulties and that’s what they achieved.”
Snodgrass is eager to focus on the struggle ahead a trip to one of their clubs in front of the Sky cameras on Monday Night Football.
“We want to try and win the game at Aston Villa as, to keep on progressing, we need to continue winning football games and need to bring unique ideas to split these sorts of teams down.
“Aston Villa are a very good side. I have watched them a whole lot this season because of the fact I’ve been there and kept in touch with some of their staff and players, and we’ll have to be at our very best to find a outcome.”
Snodgrass’ West Ham team-mate Declan Rice continues to be facing a difficult time on the stage after he received death threats for choosing to play for England the Republic of Ireland.
In addition, he came in for some criticism because of his defensive error which contributed to Kosovo’s second goal against England at Tuesday’s European Qualifier at St Mary’s.
Hammers manager Manuel Pellegrini is convinced Rice has the disposition to shoot all into his stride and flourish for the federal side:”Declan is a very young player, he is improving in every game he plays,” said Pellegrini.
“He is only 20 years old and I think with his era it’s important he plays for England and it’s essential for him how he will demonstrate how he functions.
“You can anticipate these errors for any type of player. He is advancing and in this place he’s doing for the second.
“If you’re 20 years older you always wish to play, but we will see whether he’s any muscle problem. For the moment Declan has to continue playing.”
“Once I shot him from the team last year I told him you will need a few more games to perform in that place, he constantly is advancing and would like to learn. He always knows what he is doing wrong and he wishes to enhance.”
“He has played at the top level for the two matches [for England] which will give him assurance.”
