Mick McCarthy to rotate Republic of Ireland team for Bulgaria friendly

Mick McCarthy has shown he’ll make modifications such as the Republic of Ireland’s friendly against Bulgaria on Tuesday, live on Sky Sports.
The Republic come into this game on the back of a Euro 2020 qualifier on Thursday, they drew 1-1 with Switzerland.
McCarthy is ready omit a few of the players who featured in that match in the Aviva Stadium and also to twist his squad.
“You’ll see some adjustments,” he explained. “It’s a chance to see [the group players] play.
“It’s an opportunity for those who have travelled around Gibraltar and Denmark and encouraged that the lads to get a game.
“Everybody plays, we wish to win the match.
“If I create three substitutions, six substitutions – Why Can it weaken the team, strengthen the group?
“Players who haven’t been enjoying, if they get the chance to playwill be busting a gut to play at their top level and also as they possibly can.”
Without revealing if they may start, the 60-year-old stated Scott Hogan and James Collins will play a part in the match, also there may be a possible return for Matt Doherty if he can overcome an injury.
McCarthy stated:”James and Scott will play.
“I’d love to find a performance from them that warrants me believing I may have to play with them to another match.
“Or that everyone else sees and they think they might play , if so-and-so isn’t doing the company, then we’ve got other players that could come in and do a job as well, if not better.”
McCarthy has disclosed his plans to include a number of this Republic of Ireland U21 players at future squads – .
The youngsters, who are now top of their European team, beat on 1-0 on Friday, together with Sweden their opponents on Tuesday.

“I expect they get playing with their teams. I hope that they give me that problem and that issue should they do start playing.
“When I was to play them and they were not to play nicely, this question would be asked . I trust myself, Terry (Connor) and Robbie (Keane). We know the best players, we know who ought to be playing.”
