Jon Rahm, Tommy Fleetwood start strongly in European Tour finale

After making a bogey-free return to activity in the DP World Tour Championship jon Rahm reaped the rewards of a fracture from golf.
The Spaniard, one of five players going into the season finale with a chance of winning the Race to Dubai, posted six birdies in Jumeriah Golf Estates within an opening-round 66.
Rahm – third at the standings – sits below and within together with the world No 5 feeling the benefits off , three shots of pacesetter Mike Lorenzo-Vera.
Really great, even though I tried my very best to mess it up on the last hole, Rahm told Sky Sports. Out of those six weeks, the majority of the initial five were not touching a team.
Pleased with how Im performing. I could tell just how rested I was mentally on a few holes I remained with this positive attitude and never got down on myself. I am hoping I maintain it for the next three days and can keep playing solid.
A lot of people are playing good. Its going to be an exciting week, so hopefully I can keep playing great and give Rory [McIlroy] and Mike [Lorenzo-Vera] a run for their money
Fleetwood challenger to Dubai to Bernd Wiesberger in the Rush standings, accompanied his victory at last weeks Nedbank Golf Challenge into a 67.
You can just put yourself out of it day one, Fleetwood said. There is a lot longer to do, theres 54 holes now. There are great players around and all I could do is do my things.
Ive got three days of work , really, before the conclusion of the year. Just need to make the most of them, stay very present, continue my best on each golf shot and see how we can get on.
Wiesberger dropped off proposed place in the ranks after enjoying with his first 10 holes over, only to birdie three of the final eight and sign to an 70.
You go out there and it seems just a tiny bit like a Sunday for some reason, but it is just the very first day, Wiesberger explained. It is still a very long week beforehand but it definitely feels if you head out there, No. 1 and two, it seems just as if youre in a Sunday shootout at ways, but its not.
There is still 54 holes ahead of us and a lot could happen, therefore attempting to get the good with the evil and hopefully we get a couple golf score and breaks low the upcoming few days
