NASCAR at Bristol: Odds, prediction, sleepers, drivers to watch for Food City 500

NASCAR is currently taking a break and this weekend’s event heads to the half-mile venue at Bristol Motor Speedway.

While the racing will be shifting up somewhat at the moment, the storylines remain virtually the same: Kyle Busch has one of the greatest cars every week, Kevin Harvick is still looking for his first triumph and Brad Keselowski and Denny Hamlin will be lurking for their third successes. The past is the past, however, and Busch has all of the history at Bristol Motor Speedway, with seven career wins in the trail with 10 leading 5s and 15 top 10s to his title there, as well. He won last year’s race and will be searching for his third triumph it should also be noted he’s crushed in three of his last eight races in Bristol, so there’s some risk here.

Harvick has become the very best in terms of consistency in memory, although Hamlin and keselowski don’t quite have the exact same track record since Busch at the track. He hasn’t finished outside the top 10 and has just two wins there.

History says he should factor into the win, but he simply has had the car this season, to acquire and that can’t be overlooked. So until Harvick demonstrates he can get a win it’s quite hard to call it being made by him to victory lane.

We’re going with Busch again since he has factored into the final laps at each race, gets the best auto and enjoys Bristol he has been in this season from the Cup Series on to the Trucks.
