The Marc Marquez of honda is now secured his MotoGP world championship title after winning the Thai Grand Prix on Sunday.
The Spanish rider won the title with four races to spare as he finished with started .
The race finished with a final horn as Marquez overtook Fabio Quartararo about the corner to clinch the title.
Marquezs win is his fourth consecutive MotoGP championship along with his sixth in complete – 2 riders have won.
Giacomo Agostini and Valetino Rossi won eight names between 1966-1975 and seven, respectively, along with his last name coming straight back in 2009.
The 26-year-old is on track and has won nine of the 15 races this season to attain his highest MotoGP points score by four Grand Prixs abandoned in Valencia, Australia, Malaysia and Japan.
Marquez has in MotoGP having won 53 of his 123 races a staggering record.
