After winning the Thai Grand Prix on Sunday, hondas Marc Marquez has secured his MotoGP world championship title.
As he completed having begun on the 28, the Spanish rider won the title with four races to spare.
The race finished in the previous corner with a thrilling final horn as Marquez overtook Fabio Quartararo to clinch the title.
Marquezs win is his sixth in total along with his fourth MotoGP championship – just 2 riders have won more.
Giacomo Agostini and Valetino Rossi won eight titles between 1966-1975 and seven, respectively, with his last title.
The 26-year-old has won nine of the 15 races this year and is on course to reach his highest MotoGP points score with four Grand Prixs abandoned in Australia Japan, Malaysia and Valencia.
Marquez has in MotoGP having won 53 of his 123 races, finishing on the podium on 91 22, a staggering listing.
