World number one Brooks Koepka has disregarded the notion hes a significant rivalry with Rory McIlroy.
Koepka, whose nearest challenger at the world rankings is McIlroy, pointed out that the Northern Irishman has not won a major as the American joined the PGA Tour in 2015.
Im not looking at anyone behind me. Im number one in the entire world, he explained.
I have open street in front of me I am not looking in the rearview mirror, therefore I really dont see it as a competition.

Koepka, 29, spoke on the eve of this CJ Cup PGA Tour event that commences in South Korea on Thursday.

Look I adore Rory hes a terrific player and hes fun to watch, but it is just hard to believe theres a competition in golf. I just dont view it, continued Koepka.
