ESPN first reported the news.
Jenkins has skipped voluntary workouts this year, presumably in hopes of getting a new contract. The 31-year-old has two years left on his contract worth around $8 million a year.
Tyrann Mathieu and Landon Collins re-set the top of the security market this offseason, generating $14 million each year. Players closer to Jenkins’ era, such as Lamarcus Joyner and Harrison Smith, are earning north of $10 million each year.
Jenkins reporting is a great sign to start minicamp, but it remains to be seen if the Eagles will give their secondary leader the pay-bump he seeks.
