ESPN first reported the news.
Jenkins has skipped voluntary work this season, presumably in hopes of getting a contract. The 31-year-old has two years left on his contract worth roughly $8 million a year.
Tyrann Mathieu and Landon Collins re-set the cap of the security market this offseason, generating $14 million per year. Players closer to Jenkins’ era, like Lamarcus Joyner and Harrison Smith, are earning north of $10 million per year.
Jenkins reporting is a great sign to start minicamp, but it remains to be seen if the Eagles will give their secondary pioneer the pay-bump he seeks.
