Here are the Mets’ odds to win the 2019 World Series

The Mets, Nationals, and Braves all have 16/1 chances to win the World Series, although the Phillies — strangely — have 10/1 odds, based on BetOnline.
BetOnline has to be gambling the Phillies land one of the megastar free agents still on the market — Bryce Harper or Manny Machado. But landing among these players might not even vault that the Phillies to the peak of the branch.
The Marlins, that are anticipated to become one of the worst teams in baseball this year, have 150/1 chances.
Baseball Prospectus now projects the Nationals to win 89 games, together with the Mets in 88, and Braves and Phillies both at 85.
The Yankees have the best odds to win the title, at 6/1, followed by the Red Sox and Astros in 7/1, and Dodgers at 9/1. The worst chances belong to the Orioles, that are 250/1.
