KSI vs Logan Paul rematch could get 2019’s biggest boxing audience, says Eddie Hearn

The rematch using YouTube rival Logan Paul of KSI would draw in the boxing crowd of the year after 10 million watched the press conference, states promoter Eddie Hearn.
The popular YouTube personalities renewed their competition at the weekend in Los Angeles , trading a tirade of insults ahead of the boxing rematch at the Staples Center on November 9.
Paul and KSI have registered after their white-collar amateur bout finished in a majority draw August in Manchester and Matchroom Boxing boss Hearn is currently expecting enormous demand to watch their fight.
“two hundred thousand people watched the press conference live, just on their YouTube streams,” Hearn told Sky Sports.
“I think it’s around 10million people have watched the press conference now. This battle is going to be the most-watched fight of this year.
“It is mad, but they are at least respecting this exact code. They’ve turned pro, no head guards, 10 oz gloves. I really don’t think they know what they have let themselves for on this one.”
Having harnessed the ability of KSI and Paul on interpersonal networking, Hearn is currently creating a struggle bill to add rising US contender Devin Haney and the world champion Billy Joe Saunders of Britain at an effort to attract a fan base that is fresh.
“They’ve trained hard, they are in great shape, they can struggle, but the duty on us is to be certain we showcase amazing boxing to the new crowd,” said Hearn.
“That is the reason Devin Haney, Billy Joe Saunders will be likely going to be on the undercard also, since it is 1 thing bringing countless new fans to the game, can we keep them? That is the challenge that is new.
“Even if we can keep one per cent, it’s fantastic for boxing.
“Madness, total madness. I don’t understand what’s going to take place. Staples Center is going to be crazy and hopefully we could grow the sport and retain these fans from the sport, and show them some greatness while we’re there together with Devin and Billy.”
