There’s a good deal of money to be obtained this week DraftKings including a top prize of $25k in the main tournament. DK also has a lot of Qualifier contests on this week, in which the last event will pay $50k to 1st if you did qualify to play in it. I will be pursuing those as well since we have not ever had a $50k 1st place prize and I want it. We did have one struggle fall away but we still have a 13-fight card. This is a superb card to construct your bankroll for the first Sunday of NFL so you can chase that $1M.
Money Game play of this week — Zabit Magomedsharipov ($9,400)
Zabit is going to be super chalky in championship. Everybody who had Shevchenko within their lineup will switch to Zabit and he will likely be the most possessed fighter around the slate. In cash games we do not care about ownership as much and I will be starting my money team with Zabit. I believe he is the simplest win on the card plus he has the highest ceiling as well. I think if you want to find sneaky and not use Zabit, the GPPs are the place to do this. Lock him in money and take the easy triumph. Then you only need to learn about 3 other wins and you should have a winning cash group.
GPP drama of the week — Alex White ($8,600)
I think Jim Miller is near the finish of his career and I am presuming this will be the final time we see him at the UFC. I think he’s going to be given his 5th loss in a row and I’m guessing it is going to be through knockout. I believe Alex White will be too powerful and quick for Jim Miller at this phase in his career and I think he will be able to keep this battle on the feet. With everyone paying up for Zabit in GPPs, Alex White and a few other mid-range favorites could be a fantastic way to go to make your lineups more contrarian and attempt to find 1st place in a GPP like that. I really do like White a good bit in this struggle and I think he has 100+ point potential at a $8.6additional salary. For that reason, he is my GPP drama of the week.
Underdog drama of the week — Diego Sanchez ($7,300)
Diego Sanchez is my underdog play of the week since I don’t believe Craig White isn’t any good. Sanchez may be entirely taken, and if this is the situation he could get KO’d early. But I really don’t think Craig White should be over -200 contrary to some other UFC fighter. Diego is economical enough where it allows you to find a number of those higher favorites you enjoy on your lineup, and now I believe he will find a decision win here. He will be my choice to win, but it’s not a certain pick and I believe he makes for a much better GPP play than money punt.
Fade of the week — Aljamain Sterling ($8,500)
I am excited about watching this fight and I’ll be picking Aljo for the win here. My issue is that I don’t believe he is very likely to score highly, and maybe not even 10x his wages. I think a whole lot of this struggle will take place on the feet and Aljo does not throw at a high enough speed to score well in a striking match. He will have to find this battle to the floor several times and rack up some advance points for him to score tremendously. I simply don’t see that occurring. I think this is going to be a very close fight and I would rather just cover any of the fighters over Sterling. I think we would be taking a look at a score around 70-75 DK points using an Aljo decision win here.
